Kevin Bondelli's blog is geared to young Deomcrats but he has some excellent Online Tools, such as the one below.

I like the comments that he gives each source. These sites are just another example of the power of 2.0.
I haven't been swayed by the E-book phenom YET because I have not purchased the E Reader. I've read good things about the Sony 505, the older model. It has been replaced by a newer model. It seems that either one loves the 505 or the 700, a either or proposition. I will wait until the technology catches up with the idea and the result is more 'book in my hand!'
Gosh I know this sounds really moronic and my computer slip is showing but even though I have a smartphone (is the Blackberry a smart phone or PDA?)I haven't figured out if I can download e-books yet. Really I just haven't had the time to add this to my list.
When I do make the time I will visit Project Gutenberg (again)and pick up some books for my device. Does anyone have an E-Reader device? Do you like it as much as book in hand?
I agree with Mr. Bondelli in that I don't like to give away my books. I do get serious attachment issues to them. A couple of weeks ago I purchased the Sookie Stackhouse "Southern Vampire" Series and even though I have finished them all I cannot even think about giving them up.
However, there Kevin lists sites for those who do not mind parting with their books.
I agree, I'm waiting until the ebook technology produces something definitive. It's great that you can d/l an ebook to your laptop if you get caught waiting in an airport, but the Kindle is not much a replacement for a real book. Maybe if I were a speed reader or taking it along on a backpacking trip it would be worthwhile.
I thought Blackberrys were both but since they are Verizon I don't see how they can advertise being-"the first world phone"-when Verizon CDMA and Europe uses GSM.
